The City of Port Phillip has entered into a lease agreement for the ground floor of 147 Liardet St - where the library used to be in the latter days of the City of Port Melbourne. The lease holder is Brewsters & Co who has, or will soon begin to, fit out the property to turn it into a gourment supermarket.
It will be good to get the site back into active use.
The history of this lease goes back to 2008. There was an appeal to VCAT which held up the process.
