Extreme conditions at Sandridge Beach

A distressed resident rang me last night following a day of very high visitation at Sandridge Beach leading to illegal parking and large amounts of litter.

About 50 police attended the beach at about 9 pm following a stabbing. Police said that it was an inter-family feud that has been going on for some time. Here is the story as reported by the Herald Sun: http://www.heraldsun.com.au/news/breaking-news/man-stabbed-as-family-feud-erupts-on-sandridge-beach/story-e6frf7jx-1225818293592

We were at the beach when this altercation unfolded. Apart from those immediately involved, the rest of the crowd remained unconcerned that a stabbing had occurred in their midst and were not going to get involved. Swimming and conversation continued as the police milled about.

That's interesting feedback from someone who was there at Sandridge. Thanks
